OUR STORY
Impacting community through professionalism
24.8% is a number that greatly impacted us. Almost a quarter of residents in the Lynchburg area are living below the poverty line. Statistically, individuals below the poverty line have the least amount of resources to work toward their potential.
We want to see that statistic changed.

We want to give people the opportunity to live up to the potential that they already have. Lynchburg has a 12% dropout rate from high school. Of the students who stay in school until they graduate, 15% of students do not graduate on time. Without developing themselves professionally, someone without a high school diploma, faces many obstacles within the vocational economy. Our goal is to fill the gap for people whose resumes leave much to be desired when being looked at by hiring managers and college admissions.

EDUCATION IN LYNCHBURG

The Idea
We want to take the skills we've had the opportunity to acquire and share them with individuals who don't have as many resources.
The Call
Lynchburg's poverty rate is 24.8% and we want to make a dent in that number. We believe that education is the best way to bridge the gaps in our community.
Opportunities
Classes and tutoring sessions will be offered for free to anyone who wants to chase after their potential.
If attending classes isn't where your interest lies, then we would love to talk to you about our volunteer
opportunties.
